This home went untouched for most of the 18 years our clients lived there, and they were excited to refresh its look and livability for their current needs with a renovation. The primary objective throughout was to create more areas where they could all be together, whether that’s gathered in the living room to watch a movie or seated around the kitchen island while dinner is being prepared. We removed a large dividing wall to open up the space and bumped out the kitchen to include room for statement shelving and a larger island. We also changed the windows and doors throughout and added millwork in the living area to define the two-story room.
