As our clients considered the renovation of their second home—an 18th-floor apartment in Atlanta—they knew they wanted a minimalistic aesthetic that would make their stays effortless and provide some contrast to their French countryside-inspired residence in California. We kept the urban feel but juxtaposed it with antiques and clean-lined elements that wouldn’t detract from the stunning views. We focused on reflecting the natural light with a custom mirror from Stacy Milburn and a statement-making chandelier among other details. An office space was an additional need and we added glass doors to maintain privacy but allow that light to filter in. According to our client, the antique washboards we chose for the wall behind his chair has sparked conversation with clients around the world during video calls.
